What we clean, and how
Pressure alone pushes dirt around and calls it finished. Heat is what breaks down the organic growth living inside the pores of the stone, which is the reason Florida pavers go grey, green and slippery in the first place.
The clean itself
- High-pressure hot water, pressure set to the material
- Algae, mould and black spotting removed
- Rust, leaf stain and organic marks treated
- Edges, steps and coping done by hand
Surfaces we work on
- Pool decks, where slippery is also dangerous
- Driveways and walkways
- Lanais and screened patios
- Pavers, travertine, concrete and natural stone
The proof is the halfway line
Placeholder. One real before and after from a finished job belongs here, and it will sell this service on its own.
Why hot water
Cold pressure moves dirt. Hot water removes what is growing in the stone.
Algae, mould and black spotting live in the pores of the paver, not on top of it. That is why a rented machine gives you a patio that looks clean and is green again by spring, and why stone around a pool turns slippery while still looking fine.
Before you host, or before you sell
Two things prompt most of these calls. Someone has people coming and has looked properly at the patio for the first time in a year. Or the house is going on the market and the photographer is already booked.
Either way it is the fastest visible change you can make to a yard. It costs a fraction of replacing the stone, and the line between the cleaned half and the uncleaned half tends to settle any argument about whether it was worth doing.
Areas we cover
Questions we get asked
How much does patio cleaning cost?
It goes by area and how far gone it is. Send a photo or call 904-318-1999 and describe it, and we will give you a price without needing to come out first.
Will it damage my pavers?
No. Pressure and temperature are set to the material. Getting that wrong is how joints get blown out and stone gets etched, and it is the usual result of a rented machine and a free afternoon.
How long does it stay clean?
In this climate, one to three years depending on shade and rainfall. Sealing afterwards roughly doubles it, which is why most people book both together.
Do you clean the pool deck too?
Yes, and it is the most common job we do. If we already service your pool we can do the deck on the same visit.
Do I need to be home?
No, as long as we can reach the area and an outside tap. We will message you when we are done.
